BRIDGE EVENTS
A new Beginners Bridge Course will start on Thursday 1st October, running over 8 weeks on Thursday evenings. Full details from the Young Chelsea Bridge Club.
An Advanced Seminar will be held on the evening of Wednesday 14th October, 7.30-10.00pm, on "Judging the Competitive Auction". World Champion and expert bridge teacher, Heather Dhondy, will help you to make those difficult decisions about when to bid on, when to pass and when to double. Open to all. Organised by the Young Chelsea Bridge Club.
A series of Improve your Bridge seminars for new and improving players will be held on Friday afternoons, 2.00pm - 5..00pm, during the autumn as follows.
- 9th October - Common Mistakes you Need to Avoid
- 13th November - Duplicate Bridge Ethics and Etiquette
- 4th December - Basic Counting Techniques

Presented by English International Chris Duckworth, these seminars are open to all. Organised by the Young Chelsea Bridge Club.

A 12-hour Marathon of match-pointed pairs bridge will be held on Saturday 31st October, 10.30am - 10.30pm. Entry open to "pairs" of 2 or 3 players. Details from the Young Chelsea Bridge Club

CHESS EVENTS
New Adult Beginner chess sessions are now being held every Monday evening 6.00pm - 7.30pm. Coaching and play sessions for adult beginners and relatively inexperienced players. Details available from the Hammersmith Chess Club.

Every Tuesday - SUPERVISED DUPLICATE BRIDGE with the Goldhawks Bridge Group. Come alone or bring a partner. Sessions are normally held from 11:00 am to 2:45 pm, with a break for lunch, except on the first Tuesday of every month, when they run from 10:00 am to 1.00 pm.
